Compassionate Science

With compassionate science I believe we are capable of advancing so much more as humans. I feel as if compassionate science creates things that will help us conquer things that some of us cannot do. In order for someone to achieve compassionate science, one must be caring, compassionate, and unselfish. One must not want to power of expect anything from it other than to change lives of other people. Those who are compassionate will not be greedy and will not want any fame from it. I feel as if i do not have what it takes to be in compassionate science. I desire too much and I feel as if I do not have the compassion to do what it takes. I find it inspiring what Mike Ebeling did, but I do not carry the same traits he has. Many people now a days do things for the money or for the recognition, however Ebeling did it for the good and was only interested in helping others. I think the main factor to being in compassionate science is unselfishness, because all you really want is for good of others. I am a caring person, but I do not have the capability of dong what Mike does due to my selfish reasons. However anyone who is capable of doing so, is worth the recognition and is truly an amazing person. 

The Future!

I think that 100 years from now people are going to have hologram phones and be able to send hologram messages. In the future I believe scientist will be able to find a way to make people immortal. People will be able to choose whether or not if they want to live forever or live a normal life. Since they’re will be a possibility of immortality, the government will have to make up new laws and policies because things will change drastically. I also believe that the way things are going, little cities will not be able to sustain. I feel that the smaller cities will be destroyed and made into factories or such. I believe that people will have to move into other homes and they will not be pleasant. I also believe that in the future, college will not be so important because life will pretty much be made for you to live it, so if you are rich you are rich, if you are poor you are poor. If you want to step up, it will be nearly impossible.  I think that later on life will be more complicated because people will not be able to keep up with the technology and they will become to dependent. 

One Time I Laughed Really, Really Hard

The one time I laughed really, really, hard because my friend and me were sitting on my bed and we were telling jokes. I was taking pictures of here and when I was looking at the pictures I noticed something above her head. It looked like her hair was standing and it was just a strip of hair. When I looked up at her I could not help but notice it and she was making faces so it made it even funnier. It was tripping me out and I just could not help but laugh. She looked like these little dolls that have messy hair. We both started laughing and we started saying dumb things and we could not stop laughing. I was laughing so hard that my stomach started hurting and I could not breath. She started making fun of me because no noise was coming out of me so I laughed even more. I could not breath so I got up and when I was standing I could not stay up. In the end I went to the floor and I had a huge laugh attack and then I laughed even more because I was on the floor. 

My Review of Modern Times

Modern Times was a pretty interesting movie for being a silent film. I am not a big fan of silent films but this movie was cute. I liked how after finding out his life, I can see how he used some of his life experiences in his film. I find it crazy how people were back then, some people were rebellious and very mean. I like how he used what was going on in that time because people were able to relate. I feel his movie shows what people actually went through at that time, so he wanted people to know that they are not the only ones suffering. I feel that he wanted to give people hope and make them not give up on life. Chaplin brought his film to life by being honest and at the same time making it entertaining. I cannot relate to this movie because I have not suffered but I have seen people going through some of the things people in the movie went through. I know that life is not easy, but we cannot let that stop us from living and being happy. We must make the best out of every situation and that is what Chaplin was trying to tell us.
